After four and a half years in the Lufthansa group he was promoted to the Lufthansa Resident Representative at Airbus Industrie in Toulouse, France, where he was responsible for the overview of the manufacturing process and the delivery of more than 20 Lufthansa aircraft as well as several aircraft for other airlines.

In mid 1998 he became Technical Director of GOAL German Operating Aircraft Leasing GmbH & Co. KG (a joint venture of Deutsche Lufthansa AG and KGAL GmbH & Co. In parallel he served as a member of the Investment Committee of the Global Aircraft Fund No.1 launched by HSH Nordbank, Germany, between October 2007 and December 2010.

Since July 1, 2012 he runs his own business CONSAERO GmbH, a company specialized in aviation consulting, aircraft trading and asset management. Since its foundation the company re-marketed more than 40 aircraft (narrow and widebody) and several jet-engines.
